ABS material :Superior Impact Resistance and Energy Absorption ABS's balance of rigidity and toughness makes it an ideal choice for helmet shells. Synergy with the Liner: the shell transfers residual impact energy to the EPS foam liner (expanded polystyrene) inside the helmet. The liner absorbs the majority of this energy through its own crush deformation, minimizing the force transmitted to the head,providing the head's first robust barrier.
