At a construction site, a worker was working on a scaffold about 1.5 meters high. Due to the hot weather, he found the chin strap of the safety helmet too stuffy and did not fasten it properly. During the operation, he accidentally lost his footing and fell. During the fall, the safety helmet flew off his head first, and then his head hit the ground hard.The head, which could have been cushioned by the safety helmet, suffered a severe injury directly. Eventually, the worker died due to the severity of the injury.

When the accident occurred, the safety helmet, which was not worn correctly, lost its protective function and was as good as no helmet at all.
